Let your baby say goodbye to hepatitis B

The so-called hepatitis B, “mother to child transmission” refers to people with hepatitis B or hepatitis B virus carrying the body of pregnant women during pregnancy or childbirth during the process of hepatitis B virus to the fetus or the newborn, this mode of transmission is also called vertical transmission . It is the hepatitis B the most important and most threatening mode of transmission.

 In China, the high incidence of hepatitis B, and in some regions, and even 7% ~ 10% of the neonates with hepatitis B virus infection. If we did not prevent, hepatitis B mothers BB, 90% may become carriers or chronic infection status, the subsequent possibility of chronic liver failure, cirrhosis and liver cancer (especially boys). Therefore, the hepatitis B vaccination is extremely important, is to reduce and eventually eliminate chronic carriers of hepatitis B key. The common methods are as follows –

 Passive Immunization:

 Of hepatitis B (acute phase or recovery phase) in children born to the pregnant mother, was within 24 hours after birth, 3 months, 6 months, the injection of a human immune serum globulin hepatitis B (HBIG), dose of 0.5 ~ 1ml, 70% ~ 80% be protected.

 Active Immunization:

 To surface antigens and / or e antigen-positive children born to middle class home, was within 24 hours after birth (or within 7 days), 1 month, 6 month for a hepatitis B vaccine inoculation, plasma vaccine every 20 ~ 30μg, gene vaccine 5μg.

 Joint Injection:

 HBIG auto-immune response to interfere with the vaccine was not obvious, only when its protective vaccination rate of 80% to 95%, but some babies, particularly in e antigen-positive mothers of infants born to at least 30% will become a surface antigen carriers. And thus tend to use the current hepatitis B vaccine combined with HBIG injection method to improve infant protection rate (up to 85% ~ 95%). Use is as follows:

 ① HBIG0.5ml, was born within 24 hours after intramuscular injection;

 ② hepatitis B vaccine 0.5ml (DNA vaccine 5μg) and the HBIG injections at the same time, or within 7 days after birth the other side of intramuscular injection, after 1,6 month once again when the injection. 3 to 5 years for a vaccine (DNA vaccine 5μg) to strengthen immunization.

 Large Xiao Sanyang mothers of newborns should be a joint injection method of vaccination in order to minimize hepatitis B infection.
